Overview

Metallic Cattack is a 2015 red roan Quarter Horse stallion by Metallic Cat and out of Quiolena, by CD Olena, combining some of the most influential cutting bloodlines in the modern performance horse industry. Double registered with AQHA and APHA, he established his own performance credentials first in the cutting arena before successfully transitioning into roping competition. He earned more than $30,000 during his career and became the 2020 APHA World Champion in Tie-Down Roping, demonstrating the versatility that has become a defining feature of his breeding program. His maternal pedigree adds considerable depth. Quiolena is an established producing mare from the CD Olena line, giving Metallic Cattack a strong performance foundation on both sides of his pedigree. His ability to move successfully from cutting into tie-down roping has positioned him as a particularly versatile sire for breeders seeking cow sense, athletic ability, stop and trainability in a single pedigree. That versatility is now appearing strongly in his progeny. From his first foal crop in 2021, Metallic Cattack has produced performers across roping, reined cow horse, ranch competition, reining and barrel racing. QData currently records 807 AQHA foals, 24 money-earners and more than $327,000 in progeny earnings, with the substantial majority of those earnings coming from roping. His leading offspring include high-level futurity performers such as Tom Cats R Popular, Thiccthirty and Kryptoniite, and his progeny are now appearing in elite rope-horse programs ridden by some of the industry's leading competitors. Now standing at Solo Select Horses in Texas and owned in partnership by Solo Select and Kurt Neff's 7K Quarter Horses, Metallic Cattack continues to build his influence as a sire whose offspring are translating an elite cutting pedigree into competitive performance across multiple Western disciplines.
