Overview

Jaguarr was a 2017 sorrel Quarter Horse stallion by legendary barrel sire Dash Ta Fame and out of Rosas Cantina CC, by Corona Cartel. Combining two of the most influential speed pedigrees in the performance horse industry, Jaguarr was bred to bring together proven barrel racing performance with elite racing bloodlines. His maternal family is equally significant, with Rosas Cantina CC recognised as a highly accomplished barrel mare and the dam of multiple notable performers, giving Jaguarr considerable strength on both sides of his pedigree. Jaguarr earned $8,714 during his own futurity and derby career before his life was tragically cut short in 2024. His influence as a sire, however, is now beginning to emerge. From a relatively small number of early foal crops, his progeny have already produced more than $150,000 in recorded earnings, led by performers such as Nittyy Grittyy, Im On Firre, Shiverrs and NRCHA World Champion Wyldcat. His offspring are succeeding across multiple mare lines, suggesting versatility beyond a single successful cross. Owned by Mill Iron Livestock, Jaguarr's genetics remain available through limited frozen semen and ICSI in North America. His combination of Dash Ta Fame speed, Corona Cartel influence and an increasingly proven first generation of performers positions him as a young sire whose breeding impact is continuing to develop despite his premature loss.
