ML Can't Resist The Best, known as Hobbs, is a 2017 chestnut varnish leopard Appaloosa stallion by CP Surely The Best (AQHA) out of Middle L Resistabitathis, bred and owned by Debbie Pearson of Middle L Appaloosa. He stands 15.3hh and holds the distinction of being the only registered Appaloosa in the world sired by the late CP Surely The Best — a Quarter Horse by RL Best of Sudden out of Sure A Pretty Blaze, with deep Zippo Pine Bar, A Sudden Impulse, and Blazing Hot bloodlines throughout. His dam, Middle L Resistabitathis, is an AAA National Champion performance mare, adding proven Appaloosa performance breeding on the bottom side through PS Totally Irresistabelle and Middle L A Fancy Bita Rad. Trained by Tyler Pearson, Hobbs competes across Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Trail, Halter, and Suitability for Dressage, accumulating 155.5 lifetime AAA points with a current season total of 49.5 points. He has competed at State and National level since 2020, earning AAA Register of Merit awards in both Western Pleasure and Western Horsemanship. He has produced 19 registered foals to date.
