Overview

Plain Catty is a 2014 bay roan AQHA stallion (#5640227) by Bet Hesa Cat and out of Miss Plain Plain, by Just Plain Colonel. His pedigree combines influential cutting and reined cow horse bloodlines, bringing together High Brow Cat, Bet Yer Blue Boons and Freckles Playboy through his sire with the Colonel Freckles, Doc’s Remedy and established cow horse families carried through his dam. Quarter Horse News has noted that his pedigree reinforces both the Jewel’s Leo Bars/Rey Jay and Doc Bar/Poco Tivio influences through multiple branches. QStallions Plain Catty established his own performance credentials as the 2017 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Champion, shown by Jake Gorrell, scoring a 657.5 composite that included a 225 in the cow work and earning the $125,000 championship purse. He later won the 2019 NRCHA National Hackamore Open Championship and has recorded $196,245 in total QData earnings, including $195,748.56 in NRCHA earnings. He also earned 13 AQHA Working Cow Horse points and an AQHA Open Performance ROM.
