Overview

Some Kinda Stevie is a 2020 sorrel American Quarter Horse stallion by Stevie Rey Von and out of Some Kinda Sweety, a daughter of Sweet Lil Pepto. His pedigree combines influential cutting and cow-horse bloodlines through Metallic Cat, Dual Rey, Peptoboonsmal, Smart Little Lena and Freckles Playboy, with further depth through the maternal family of Some Kinda Playgirl. Initially developed through cutting and reined cow horse training, Some Kinda Stevie subsequently transitioned into team roping as a head horse. His versatility was further demonstrated at the 2026 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Show, where he competed across ranch trail, ranch cow work, ranch riding and ranch cutting, achieving a Top 10 Junior Open All-Around placing. His pedigree and performance record reflect a combination of established cow-horse breeding and practical versatility across multiple cattle-working disciplines. Standing through Solo Select in Texas, Some Kinda Stevie offers breeders an opportunity to access the Stevie Rey Von bloodline in a stallion with demonstrated experience in both ranch versatility and team roping.
