His career-defining achievement came at the 2024 NRHA Futurity, where he and Kaci O’Rourke marked a 229 to win both the Level 4 Open Futurity Championship and the Level 3 Open Futurity Championship, earning US$350,000 and US$70,000 respectively. The victory was historic, with O’Rourke becoming the first woman to win the NRHA Level 4 Open Futurity. He continued successfully into aged-event competition in 2025, finishing 6th in the NRHA Derby Level 4 Open and placing 3rd in the 100X Reining Classic 4-Year-Old Stakes Level 4 Open. He also won an NRBC Open class during the season. The Firemen remained competitive at the highest level in 2026, finishing 3rd in the NRBC Derby Level 4 Open preliminaries and 7th in the NRBC Derby Level 4 Open finals, before placing 5th/6th in the NRHA Derby Level 4 Open. These 2026 results added more than US$52,000 to his career earnings. In addition to his NRHA earnings, The Firemen has earned 7 AQHA performance points in reining. His record combines an elite three-year-old Futurity campaign with continued success through his four- and five-year-old seasons, demonstrating sustained competitiveness in major open reining events.
